The Fix in Walmart Landover Hills

Looking for phone repair inside Walmart in Landover Hills, MD 20784?

The Fix is a dedicated repair store inside Walmart, conveniently located at 6210 Annapolis Rd, Suite 120, Landover Hills, MD 20784. We repair iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones, and the same technicians look after the other devices you carry. Many phone and tablet repairs are same-day, often taking less than 30 minutes.

Because the store sits inside the Supercenter, the repair runs while you are shopping. Drop the phone off, pick up groceries or school supplies, and collect it on the way out. A broken screen does not have to take over your afternoon.

Why choose The Fix in Walmart Landover Hills?

Choose us when you want one store that can handle every device in the house. A cracked phone, a child's tablet with a dead battery, a MacBook that runs hot and a console that stopped sending a picture can all come through the same door. You explain the problem once, to one team, and each device gets a technician who works on that kind of hardware.

The diagnosis is free. A technician opens up the problem, finds the actual cause. That matters when the symptom and the cause are not the same thing. A phone that seems to have a bad screen can turn out to have a loose connector, and a laptop that will not charge can have a worn jack rather than a dead battery. Knowing which one you have keeps the repair focused on the part that failed.

Which phone repairs can you get at The Fix in Landover Hills?

Screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers and back glass are all phone repairs we handle here. A cracked screen or shattered glass on an iPhone 17 is replaced as a complete screen assembly, so the new glass and the touch layer arrive as one part and fit the frame cleanly.

Touch problems get their own attention. Unresponsive touch, where taps simply do not register, and ghost touch, where the phone opens apps or scrolls with no finger on it, usually trace back to a damaged digitizer. Replacing the screen clears both, even when the glass on top looks fine.

Battery replacement is just as direct. A battery draining fast shows up as an iPhone 13 that needs the charger by midafternoon, or a Galaxy S25 that loses a third of its charge on a short drive with maps open. A new battery brings back a full day of use.

Charging port repair starts with a close look inside the port. Debris in the port, usually packed lint from a pocket or bag, keeps the plug from seating all the way, and a careful cleaning can bring charging back without new parts. When the port itself is worn, as it can be on a Galaxy A16 that gets plugged in several times a day, we replace it.

The back of the phone needs care too. Cracked back glass on an iPhone 15 Pro can be replaced, and a broken camera lens cover is a separate, smaller job that brings sharp photos back. A muffled speaker on calls can come from a clogged grille or from a speaker module that is failing, and we find out which before replacing anything.

Water damage calls for quick action. A Google Pixel 10 that went into a sink should be switched off and brought in as soon as possible, so we can open it, clean the board and check which parts still work. A phone that will not power on at all gets the same careful diagnosis to see whether the battery, the charging circuit or the screen is behind it.

What other devices can we repair besides phones?

Beyond phones, we repair tablets, laptops, MacBooks and game consoles. On tablets, that covers an iPad (10th generation) with a broken screen, an iPad Air whose battery no longer holds a charge, and Samsung Galaxy Tab models with charging or glass problems. Tablets that live in backpacks and car seats take a lot of knocks, and a screen or battery swap gets them back in use.

For computers, we work on MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models along with Windows laptops. Typical jobs include cracked laptop screens, worn keyboards, batteries that no longer last through a class or a shift, failing charging jacks and slow storage drives that need an upgrade.

Game consoles round out the list. A PlayStation 5 with a damaged HDMI port, an Xbox Series X that will not read discs and a Nintendo Switch with drifting controllers or a charging fault are all repairs we take in. For laptops and consoles, timing depends on the fault and the part, and the technician will tell you what to expect once the diagnosis is done.

What parts and accessories does The Fix in Landover Hills carry?

We repair with high-quality parts, and we carry the accessories a phone needs once it is working again. When a screen comes in more than one version, such as OLED or LCD for certain iPhone models, the technician explains how the options differ in brightness and color, and you pick the one that suits you.

On the accessory side, you will find cases for current iPhone, Galaxy and Pixel models, tempered glass screen protectors, privacy screen protectors that darken the screen from the side, camera lens protectors and charging cables with wall adapters.

How does a repair at The Fix in Landover Hills work?

A repair at this store moves through four stages, and you are kept in the loop at each one.

• Stage 1: Bring the device in and tell us what happened, whether it was a drop, a spill or a symptom that crept up over time.
• Stage 2: A technician runs the diagnosis and gives you a quote for the repair before any work starts.
• Stage 3: You decide. Once you say yes, the technician starts the repair with the part option you chose.
• Stage 4: The technician checks the repaired functions, such as touch, charging, cameras and sound, and the device is ready for pickup.

When the diagnosis turns up a second issue, for example a weak battery sitting behind a cracked screen, you hear about it at Stage 2 and decide whether to handle one repair or both.

Where exactly is The Fix in Landover Hills, MD 20784?

You will find The Fix inside the Walmart Supercenter at 6210 Annapolis Rd, Suite 120, Landover Hills, MD 20784. Landover Hills is a small town in Prince George's County, set between Bladensburg to the west and New Carrollton to the east, and the store sits on the Annapolis Road corridor that links the two.

Northwest Stadium, home of the Washington Commanders, is about 3.4 miles to the southeast. New Carrollton Station, where Metro's Orange Line meets MARC and Amtrak trains, lies roughly 2 miles east. Bladensburg Waterfront Park, on the Anacostia River, is about 1.7 miles west.

Drivers on the Capital Beltway can take Exit 20B for MD 450 west, which is Annapolis Road, toward Bladensburg. From US-50, Exit 5 for MD 410 also connects to the corridor.

How does Maryland weather affect phones in Prince George's County?

Hot, humid summers and cold winter snaps both wear on phone batteries here. In July and August, a phone left in a parked car can heat up far past what a lithium battery likes. Repeated heat speeds up battery aging, and in some phones it leads to a swollen battery that pushes the screen or the back panel outward. Stop charging a phone that starts to bulge, and let us replace the battery.

Winter brings the opposite problem. On a cold morning wait at a bus stop or a walk across a large parking lot, an older battery can lose voltage fast enough to cause a sudden shutdown, even with charge left on the meter. A battery that does this often has worn cells, and a replacement is what fixes it.

Moving between air-conditioned rooms and muggy outdoor air in summer can also leave moisture inside a phone, which is one more reason a quick check helps when a device starts acting strangely after a humid day.

What can you expect when you visit The Fix in Landover Hills?

Expect a technician who explains the fault clearly and takes time with your questions. You hear what failed, why it failed and what the repair will change, in terms that make sense without a tech background.

Expect patience when you shop for accessories too. Choosing between case styles or deciding whether a privacy protector is worth it can take a few minutes, and the team helps you think it through and installs the protector for you.

Expect quick fixes to be taken seriously. A phone camera and flashlight that stopped working or call audio that went quiet is worth bringing in, and the technician will track down the cause the same way as for a broken screen.

Expect a friendly, professional team that knows the hardware, from a budget Android phone to a MacBook Pro.

What questions do people ask about The Fix in Walmart Landover Hills?

How long does it take to repair a cracked iPhone screen at The Fix in Walmart Landover Hills?

A cracked iPhone screen replacement is often done in less than 30 minutes, though the exact time depends on the model and whether the frame is bent. An iPhone 14 with a clean crack moves faster than one with a dented corner, because a bent frame has to be straightened before the new screen can sit flat.

How much does it cost to repair a Samsung Galaxy screen at The Fix in Walmart Landover Hills?

Galaxy screen repair pricing comes down to the model and the screen technology inside it. A Galaxy S series phone uses a curved or flagship AMOLED panel that costs more to replace than the flat screen on a Galaxy A series phone, and frame damage around the edges can add to the work.

How much does it cost to repair an iPad or tablet battery at The Fix in Landover Hills?

Tablet battery replacement cost depends mostly on the tablet and how it is sealed. Many iPad models have the screen glued over the battery, so the screen has to be lifted carefully to reach it, while some Galaxy Tab models open differently. The model, the battery size and how much adhesive work is involved all shape the price.

How long does it take to repair a MacBook or laptop at The Fix in Walmart Landover Hills?

MacBook and laptop repair time depends on the fault and on part availability. A battery swap on a MacBook Air is a different task from a screen replacement on an older Windows laptop, so the technician gives you a time estimate once the diagnosis shows what is wrong.

How much does it cost to repair a charging port at The Fix in Walmart Landover Hills?

Charging port repair cost depends on whether the port needs cleaning or replacing. If lint is the only problem, a cleaning may be all it takes. If the port is worn or bent, the price comes from the phone model and how the port is built in, since on some phones it is soldered to the board and on others it sits on a separate flex cable.

How much does it cost to repair water damage on a phone at The Fix near Bladensburg Waterfront Park?

Water damage repair cost depends on how far the liquid traveled and which parts it reached. Fresh water caught early may only need a board cleaning, while salt, coffee or a long soak can damage the screen, battery or charging circuit. After opening the phone, the technician can tell you which parts need replacing.

How long does it take to repair a phone camera at The Fix in Walmart Landover Hills?

Phone camera repair time depends on which part of the camera failed. A cracked lens cover is a quick swap, while a rear camera module that will not focus or shows a black screen takes longer because the phone has to be opened further to reach it.

Is there a phone repair store inside Walmart close to Northwest Stadium?

The Fix runs a full phone repair store inside the Landover Hills Walmart, a short drive northwest of the stadium. It works well before or after a game or concert, especially for a screen that cracked in the crowd or a battery that gave out during a long day out.

Can I walk in to The Fix near New Carrollton Station without an appointment?

You can walk in to The Fix without an appointment. If you are coming from the station or heading there after work, just bring the device and describe the problem when you arrive.

How much does it cost to repair iPhone back glass at The Fix in Landover Hills?

iPhone back glass repair cost is driven by the model and by how the back is built. On some newer iPhones the back glass is designed to come off as its own panel, while on older models it is bonded to the frame and takes more work to remove. Damage to the camera ring or frame can change the price as well.

Is my data safe during a phone repair at The Fix in Walmart Landover Hills?

Your data stays on your phone during a hardware repair, because screen, battery and port work does not touch your storage.

Can The Fix in Walmart Landover Hills repair a Motorola phone?

Motorola phones are repaired at The Fix in Landover Hills, screen replacements included. Bring the phone in and the technician will check which repairs are possible for your specific model.
