My Iphone XS began to have a problem where it would constantly restart and then display an error message to plug in the phone and restore it. My computers could not recognize the device so I took it to the Apple store in Columbia mall. They told me there was nothing they could do and all of my pictures and data are gone (I don't use icloud to backup my phone - I really should though) and I should look into a new phone. I figured I should at least try a small fix before attempting expensive data recovery. I walked into The Fix in Columbia to see if maybe it was a problem with the charging port. Their associate quickly deduced that the port was working so it had to be a different problem. Eric, one of the managers, overheard the conversation and asked me to leave my phone for an hour to see if he could figure it out. He had my full permission to do what he deemed necessary - almost 3 years of pictures is priceless. When I came back he showed me my phone in perfect working order except for the faceID. He said that there was a problem with a component necessary for faceID, but when it was removed the phone worked fine. I was only charged $80 when Apple would have gladly sold me a new phone with no hopes of getting back my data. I will never buy an iphone or any Apple product again, and I will direct my friends here when their iphones inevitably break. Thank you The Fix and thank you Eric!

Went to get an older model Mac Book screen fixed because everywhere else told us an outrageous price. Took it to Eric at “The Fix” he took great care of us and the price he quoted was lower than everyone else. He was professional & knowledgeable, the store was very organized. We were even able to get the computer back early because the part came in early. I also appreciate the fact that we were able to get warranty with the repair. I would definitely recommend The Fix! Especially with helpful and friendly people like Eric!

My issue with my Galaxy was quite complex and required multiple visits. My screen was the main issue. Paid for the screen to be fixed, and everything worked great after waiting the 30 or 40 minutes for replacement. The front camera ended up not working well due to something during the repair, and he ended up replacing like everything in the phone to get it working again for me, all for free. These are amazing people that own up to their mistakes and get the job done quickly and efficiently as possible. He even offered to put on a screen protector for me for the inconvenience. I work in the mall, so it wasn't a big deal to visit a couple times. I'm glad I can take pictures with friends again. It's like a brand new phone now!

I went into the store today to get assistance with water and charging port issue with my iPhone. Eric went above and beyond to assist and fix the issue. I commend Eric for having me out of the store in no time with a fix for my iPhone. Excellent customer service also.

If you have water damaged your phone and think your phone is dead please bring it to Eric at the fix he will revive the soul of your phone. After looking at my phone I was told that they won’t even charge anything to clean the water and check if my phone doesn’t turn back on because water had reached the camera lenses. I got my phone back in working condition after a simple screen change. They explained me everything and were patient with all my questions and helped me retrieve my data too. Would recommend to go to fix instead of apple store. I went to apple store first and they told me that nothing can be done and I should buy new phone as this phone was damaged beyond repair.

This place is amazing and very courteous! My son cracked his school issued Ipad and I took it in for a price check. 2.5 hours later the device was repaired and they explained the proper steps to take before resuming the use of the device. My son was able to attend his online class the next day without any issues.

They help me with my issue. My iPhone pro11 overheated and Verizion had to remove my protective screen. I had just purchased a new case and screen protective a week ago from here. I came back in they took care of me right away. Quick, fast and professional. I ended up purchasing another case. If you have an issues with your phone you should definitely come here. I had an amazing experience at The Fix. I dropped my phone earlier in the day and cracked my screen. I called around and The Fix was the only place that had the part the same day and fixed it for a price cheaper than I was quoted from other stores. I got this done all in the same day and it did not take long at all. Thank you all! I also strongly recommend this place.

This store is honest, quick and cheap! Very nice customer service and better then Apple “geniuses” they said the repair would be $319 so I left and went to The Fix and it costed $74. It took 15 minutes to repair the whole thing and I was very impressed on how it turned out. Left a $16 tip. :) Honestly, underrated store and would definitely recommend.

I had a bad battery for my iPhone 6s Plus where it wasn’t even turning on. I went to the Apple store upstairs, waited an hour just for them to tell us that they won’t even touch it because it’s not turning on. I had passed The FIX store earlier so I left apple and went there. Literally in 15 minutes, the young man made sure the battery was the problem which it was. My phone turned on. He saved my phone, all of my pictures, saved me 10$ in the process as well. All for 35$. I definitely recommend!!!!

Eric is amazing! I went into his store thinking that I needed to get my screen replaced because it was frozen and wouldn’t shut down. Being the honest person that he is, he showed me a trick to shut it down. It worked and he saved me $100+! I appreciate his honesty and not taking advantage of me. walked into this place in Columbia with Samsung cell phone where camera had suddenly failed. Got quick attention; diagnosis of hardware problem within 15 minutes. They took phone apart and replace some parts. Phone fixed in less than an hour for under $100.00 Staff friendly and communicative. I highly recommend.
