6. REPAIR AND RETAIL SERVICE TERMS

When booking or purchasing The Fix services, you acknowledge and accept

the following:

(a) Estimates and Authorization

Diagnostic evaluations and repair estimates are non-binding until approved by you. By authorizing service, you permit our technicians to handle your device as needed.

(b) Data and Backup

You are solely responsible for backing up data. The Fix is not liable for any data loss, corruption, or inability to retrieve information after repair. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim any responsibility for loss or corruption of data during service.

(c) Manufacturer Warranty Impact

Third-party repair or part installation may void manufacturer warranties. You assume full responsibility for that risk.

(d) Limited Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in writing, The Fix provides a 90-day limited warranty on replacement parts and labor, covering only defects in materials and workmanship. Physical damage, water exposure, or tampering voids this warranty. This limited warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy for any claims relating to the services or replacement parts, and is in addition to any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

(e) Cancellations and Refunds

Each location may maintain independent policies compliant with state law. Please contact your local store for specific terms. To the extent of any conflict between a local store policy and these Terms, the local store policy will govern solely with respect to in-person transactions at that location, unless prohibited by law.
