First experience coming in my phone had a broken glass protector. He was able to remove it and put a new one on. I also want to add that I have a Google pixel 9 and all the other stores around either Didn't have the glass protector for it or didn't have a phone case and he had both!! Almost all the other phone stores don't have that because they only carry iPhones or Samsung He's the first shop that I've went to that actually has Google stuff!! Yay will be returning!! 😁

The Fix is a dedicated repair store inside Walmart at 1590 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange, FL 32127, conveniently located on one of the city's main east-west roads. We repair phones, tablets, computers and game consoles in the same place. Many phone and tablet repairs are same-day, often taking less than 30 minutes.
Our technicians work on iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models. Bring in a cracked screen, a battery that no longer lasts, or a port that will not charge. Leave the device with us while you are shopping, then pick it up on your way out.
We are set up for repair work first. The tools, the parts and the bench space here exist to open devices, find faults and put them right. That shows in the details: screens seated flush and adhesive replaced so the phone closes properly.
We also work across generations. An iPhone 17 that just came out of the box and an iPhone 11 that has been handed down twice get the same attention. The same goes for Android. A Galaxy S25 and a budget Galaxy A16 are both worth repairing when the rest of the phone is healthy.
Before any work starts, we tell you what the diagnosis found and what the repair will cost. You decide whether to go ahead. If there is more than one way to fix the problem, we lay out the options side by side so the choice stays yours.
We handle screen, battery, charging, audio, camera and water damage repairs on phones. Here is how each one usually looks.
Screens and glass. A cracked screen on an iPhone 17 Pro or shattered glass on a Galaxy S25 Ultra is fixed by replacing the full screen assembly. Damage is not always visible. A drop can leave the glass intact while the touch layer underneath stops working. That shows up as unresponsive touch in a strip of the screen, or as ghost touch, where taps register that you never made. Both point to the panel, and a new screen clears them up.
Back glass and cameras. Recent iPhones and Galaxy models have glass on the back as well as the front. Cracked back glass on an iPhone 13 Pro Max can be replaced on its own, and so can a chipped camera lens cover on the same phone.
Batteries. Every phone battery wears down with charging cycles. A battery draining fast by mid-afternoon, or a sudden shutdown while the screen still shows charge left, are the usual signs. A swollen battery is different. It can push the back panel outward or press on the screen from behind. Stop charging a phone in that state and bring it in, because a battery under that kind of pressure should come out. We replace batteries on iPhone, Galaxy, Pixel models and for other popular brands.
Charging ports. Charging port repair does not always mean changing the port. Debris in the port, like pocket lint or fine sand, packs down over time and keeps the cable from seating. We clean the port first. If the pins are bent or worn, the port is replaced. A Galaxy A16 that only charges at a certain angle is a good example of a phone that needs one or the other.
Speakers, microphones and buttons. A muffled speaker on calls can come from blocked mesh or a failing earpiece. Callers who say you sound far away may be hearing a worn microphone. Side buttons and volume keys that stick or stop clicking can be replaced as well.
Water damage. Water damage needs a diagnosis before anything else. We open the phone, check the board for corrosion and clean it. Then we find out which parts still work. The sooner a wet phone reaches us, the better, and it should not be charged in the meantime.
Phones that will not power on. When a phone will not power on, the cause can be the battery, the charging port, the screen or the board. The diagnosis tells us which one, and that decides the repair.
Besides phones, we repair tablets, laptops, desktop computers and game consoles at this store.
On tablets, cracked glass and worn batteries are the main jobs. An iPad Pro with a broken screen, or an entry-level iPad that no longer holds a charge through a school day, can both be repaired. Galaxy Tab models get screen and battery work too.
For computers, we work on MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models as well as Windows laptops and desktops. That covers screen and keyboard replacement, battery replacement, virus and malware removal, and performance tune-ups. A RAM or SSD upgrade can make an older laptop feel quicker without replacing the whole machine.
Game consoles come in with their own set of faults. A PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X with no picture often needs HDMI port repair. Disc drives that will not read or eject can be fixed. On a Nintendo Switch, we look at charging problems, cracked screens and controllers that drift. For laptops and consoles, the time a repair takes depends on the fault we find.
We use high-quality parts matched to exact model, and we carry everyday accessories for phones and tablets.
When a screen is replaced, the part has to match the phone's screen technology, its size and its connector. On models where more than one screen option exists, we explain how they differ in brightness and color before you pick one. Batteries are matched to the model's capacity and connector in the same way.
On the accessory side, we stock phone cases, tempered glass screen protectors and camera lens protectors, plus chargers and cables. We can fit a screen protector or lens protector for you, lined up with the cutouts so it sits flat. A case and protector fitted right after a screen replacement is a simple way to keep new glass in one piece.
A repair here follows four stages, from the first conversation to pickup.
The Fix is inside the Walmart Supercenter at 1590 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange, FL 32127, just east of the Clyde Morris Blvd intersection.
From I-95, take Exit 256 and head east on Dunlawton Ave for about a mile. The Pavilion at Port Orange sits by that same interchange, so a stop there and a stop here fit into one drive. Coming from the other direction, Dunlawton Ave runs past Halifax Health Medical Center of Port Orange before it reaches the store.
The store sits between the Countryside neighborhood to the northeast and the streets around Spruce Creek High School, just over half a mile to the south.
Port Orange weather affects phones through heat, humidity, salt air and sand.
Summer heat is hard on batteries. A phone left in a parked car through a hot afternoon runs its battery far above a comfortable temperature, and repeated heat speeds up wear. Over time that leads to shorter battery life and, in some cases, a swollen cell.
Humidity and salt air work more slowly. Living close to the coast means moisture and salt can reach a phone's charging port and speaker openings. Corrosion builds on the contacts, and charging becomes unreliable. Fine beach sand adds to the problem when it finds its way into ports and speaker grilles.
Then there are the summer storms. Afternoon downpours, pool decks and boat days on the river all put phones near water. A good case helps with drops, but it does not keep water out.
You can expect a technician who listens first, explains clearly and keeps you informed until the device is back in your hand.
A broken phone is stressful, especially when it holds work contacts or family photos. Our team keeps the conversation calm and practical. We explain what we see, what it means and what can be done, without technical jargon.
A phone that comes in with several faults at once, say a cracked screen, a weak battery and a loose port, can be handled in a single visit. We look at everything together, so you hear about all the issues at the start.
Small requests are welcome too. If you only need a screen protector fitted or a cable checked, we will help with that during the same visit.
Repairing a cracked iPhone 16 screen is usually same-day, and it often takes less than 30 minutes once the diagnosis is done. What adds time is damage beyond the glass: a bent frame, a dented corner or a camera that was also hit in the drop.
A Galaxy S24 battery repair time depends mostly on the back panel, which Samsung seals with strong adhesive. We heat and lift the panel slowly to keep it intact, then fit the new battery and reseal the phone. A cracked back panel changes the job, because it is replaced at the same time.
Repair time for a water-damaged phone depends on the fault, so we give a time only after the diagnosis. Fresh water and salt water behave differently, and salt water usually leaves more corrosion to clean. The hours between the spill and the repair matter as well.
An iPad mini battery repair takes longer than a phone battery because the screen has to come off first. On an iPad, the glass is glued to the frame, so the time depends on how cleanly it separates. A screen that is already cracked is usually replaced during the same visit.
For iPhone 15 Pro back glass, the price depends on how far the damage goes. Glass that is cracked but flat is one job. If the frame under it is bent, or the camera lens cover broke in the same drop, those parts are added to the quote.
An iPad Air screen repair is priced by the model generation and by whether the glass and the panel are fused. On some iPad Air models, the glass and panel form one part, which costs more to replace than glass alone. We check which version you have during the diagnosis.
Pixel 8 charging port pricing comes down to how the phone is built. A Pixel opens from the front, so the screen has to be lifted to reach the port. If the screen breaks during removal or was damaged before, a new one is added to the quote.
Galaxy S25 camera lens repairs are priced by which part broke. If only the glass cover over the lens is cracked, the repair is small. If photos stay blurry after the cover is cleared, the camera module itself is damaged and is replaced, which costs more.
MacBook Air screen prices follow the model year and chip, since the screen assembly differs between Intel and Apple silicon models. We confirm the exact model during the diagnosis. Damage to the hinge or the lid also changes the price.
Yes, the diagnosis is free, and you are not asked to commit to a repair afterward. We test the device, tell you what we found, and you choose whether to go ahead.
You can walk in to The Fix on Dunlawton Ave without an appointment.
Screen, battery and port repairs work on the hardware, not on your photos, messages or accounts. We ask for a passcode only when a test needs it, such as checking the touch screen or the camera after the repair. If you prefer, you can share the passcode and change it once the phone is back with you.
