The Fix is a dedicated repair kiosk inside Willowbrook Mall, conveniently located at 2000 Willowbrook Mall, Ste K5539, Houston, TX 77070. We repair phones, tablets, computers and game consoles, and we fit accessories right at the kiosk. Many phone and tablet repairs are same-day, often taking less than 30 minutes.
A cracked screen, a battery that no longer lasts the afternoon, a charging port that has gone loose: these are the everyday faults the kiosk is set up for. Each one starts with a diagnosis, and each one is done where you can see it.
The kiosk format is the main reason: you can watch your repair from the first check to the final test. There is no back room here. The phone you hand over stays in sight the whole time.
That matters more than it sounds. You see the damaged part come out and the new one go in. If something looks unfamiliar, you ask about it while it is happening, and you get a straight answer from the person holding the tools. Questions are part of the job at this kiosk, not an interruption to it.
The second reason is timing. A kiosk inside the mall suits the small jobs people tend to put off for months: a fresh battery, a new screen protector, a speaker that has gone quiet. They get handled while you are shopping, instead of waiting for a free Saturday that never comes.
The kiosk handles the repairs that keep a phone usable day to day: screens, batteries, charging ports, speakers, cameras and back glass, across iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models.
Screens. A cracked screen or shattered glass is the obvious one, but screen faults go further than broken glass. Unresponsive touch, green or white lines across the picture, and ghost touch, where the phone taps and scrolls by itself, usually point to a damaged screen assembly as well. We replace screens on current phones like the iPhone 17 and Galaxy S25 Ultra, and on older ones like the iPhone 13 that still have plenty of life in them.
Batteries. Battery draining fast by lunchtime, a sudden shutdown at 20 percent, a phone that restarts the moment you open the camera: all three are signs of a worn battery, not a worn out phone. A swollen battery needs prompt attention. If the screen has started to bulge or the back no longer sits flat, stop charging the phone and bring it to the kiosk. We replace batteries on models from the iPhone 15 to the Galaxy A56.
Charging ports. Charging port repair covers cables that slip out, charging that cuts in and out when you move the phone, and ports that have stopped connecting altogether.
Speakers and cameras. A muffled speaker, an earpiece you have to press against your ear to hear, or a camera that stopped focusing after a drop are all kiosk repairs.
Back glass. Cracked glass on the back of the phone is replaced too, so the phone is safe to hold and the camera area is sealed again.
No power. A phone that will not power on gets a diagnosis before anything else, because the cause could be the battery, the charging circuit or the screen itself.
The Willowbrook Mall kiosk repairs tablets, laptops and game consoles as well as phones, using the same diagnosis-first approach.
Tablets fail much like phones do, just across a larger sheet of glass. A cracked iPad Pro screen, an iPad Air battery that no longer lasts a school day, and a Samsung Galaxy Tab with a worn charging port are all tablet repairs we handle at the kiosk.
For laptops, we work on MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models as well as Windows laptops. Screens, batteries, keyboards and charging faults are the usual requests. Timing for a laptop depends on the fault and on the part.
Game console repair covers PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch systems: HDMI ports that no longer send a picture, consoles that overheat and shut off, disc drives that stop reading and systems that refuse to start. As with laptops, timing depends on what the diagnosis finds.
Repairs at the kiosk are done with high-quality parts, and the accessory side covers cases, screen protectors and watch cases.
With parts, the goal is simple to describe. A replacement screen should respond evenly from edge to edge and show accurate color at full brightness. A replacement battery should bring back a full day of normal use.
Accessories get the same attention as repairs, because a badly fitted case or protector is something you notice every time you pick up the phone. Cases are matched to your exact model, so the cutouts line up with the camera array and the buttons press cleanly. Screen protectors are applied by us, squared to the edges and free of trapped dust and air. Watch cases are sized on the watch you are wearing, not picked by guesswork.
Because the kiosk sits in the open, you can compare cases in your hand before choosing one, and the one you pick goes straight onto the device.
A repair at The Fix kiosk runs in four stages, and every stage happens in front of you.
The Fix kiosk is inside the enclosed Willowbrook Mall at 2000 Willowbrook Mall, Ste K5539, Houston, TX 77070. Once you are inside, look for suite K5539.
The mall sits in the Willowbrook area of northwest Houston, beside the interchange of SH 249 (Tomball Pkwy) and FM 1960 (Cypress Creek Pkwy). Both roads carry traffic from Cypress, Champions and Tomball, so the mall is an easy meeting point for much of northwest Harris County.
Willowbrook Plaza is about half a mile southwest, across Tomball Pkwy. Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is about 0.8 miles northwest on SH 249. Farther up the same highway, Vintage Park is about 3 miles northwest, and Lone Star College-University Park is about 3.3 miles out in the same direction.
Houston heat is the biggest strain on a phone battery, and humidity is the slow second.
A phone left in a parked car on a summer afternoon can reach temperatures that age a lithium battery far faster than normal daily use. One hot afternoon rarely ruins it. A whole summer of them often shows up in the fall as shorter battery life and a phone that warns you it is too hot to charge.
Humidity works differently. Moisture in the air settles into charging ports and speaker openings, and over time it can leave a film of corrosion on the contacts. The result is charging that gets unreliable for no obvious reason. Keeping the phone out of the car during the hottest months, and not charging it while it is hot, helps both the battery and the port last longer.
Expect a quick, tidy repair and friendly, patient help with whatever you came for.
Screen repairs are the clearest example. The goal is a phone that looks like it did before the drop, with clean edges and no gaps around the glass, handed back promptly.
Choosing accessories is relaxed rather than rushed. The staff help you find the case that suits how you use your phone, whether that means slim, rugged or somewhere in between. When a watch case is fitted, the watch usually gets a quick clean before the case goes on, so nothing is trapped underneath.
Explanations stay plain. If you ask what a part does or why a repair is needed, you get an answer in everyday language.
Many iPhone screen repairs at the kiosk are same-day, often taking less than 30 minutes. The model and the damage decide where a repair falls in that range. An iPhone 16 with only cracked glass moves quickly, while a drop that also bent the frame or damaged the Face ID area takes longer to put right.
An iPad screen repair takes longer or shorter depending on how that iPad is built. On models like the iPad mini, the glass and the screen underneath are one laminated part, which is replaced as a unit. On older models like the 9th generation iPad, the outer glass is separate and bonded in place with adhesive that needs time to set.
Game console repair time depends on the fault the diagnosis finds. A worn HDMI port, a console that overheats because its fan and vents are clogged, and a fault on the main board are three very different jobs. Whether the needed part is already on hand also shapes the timing.
A Google Pixel battery replacement takes as long as the model and the battery's condition require. Pixel batteries are held in with strong adhesive, and on a phone like the Pixel 8 that adhesive has to be released carefully so the cell is not bent during removal. A battery that has already started to swell needs even more care.
The cost of a Galaxy screen repair depends mainly on which Galaxy you own. An S-series flagship uses a larger, more advanced screen assembly than an A-series phone like the Galaxy A16, and the part price reflects that. A bent frame or a cracked back that came with the same drop adds to the job.
MacBook repair cost comes down to the model year and the part that has failed. A battery, a keyboard and a screen are separate parts at very different costs, and a spill that reached the logic board changes the picture again. The diagnosis tells you which of these you are dealing with before any cost is set.
Charging port cost depends on whether the port needs cleaning or replacing. Debris in the port, usually pocket lint pressed tight by the cable, is often the whole problem, and clearing it is a small job. When the port itself is worn or damaged, the cost depends on the model, since some phones have the port on a separate part and others build it into a larger assembly.
iPhone back glass cost depends on the model and on how Apple built the back. Several recent models, including the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15, have back glass designed to be replaced on its own. On earlier models like the iPhone 12, the glass is bonded to the frame and takes more work to remove.
The cost of water damage repair depends on what the liquid reached and how long it sat there. A phone that only needs its charging port and speaker dried and cleaned is a smaller job than one with corrosion on the main board. Salt water and sugary drinks tend to cause more corrosion than plain water. Turning the phone off and bringing it in soon gives the diagnosis the most to work with.
Camera lens repair cost depends on whether only the lens cover is cracked or the camera behind it is damaged too. A cracked cover over a working camera is the smaller repair. If photos are blurry, spotted or dark even with the cover cleaned, the camera module itself may need replacing, which costs more.
You can walk up to the kiosk without an appointment. Tell us the exact model when you arrive. For less common phones and tablets, we check that the right part is on hand before the repair begins.
Your photos and data stay on the phone, because screen, battery, port and camera repairs are hardware work that does not involve your storage. For testing, you can unlock the phone yourself at the kiosk when we reach that stage. A recent iCloud or Google backup is still a smart habit before any repair.
