While investigating the phone, he discovered it was something different. So, even though he could have just replaced the port and charged me the quoted price, he was able to fix it for cheaper and charged me considerably less. I was impressed that he chose to help me solve this at as little a cost as possible when he could have easily gone forward with replacing the port and I would have never known the difference.
